Your first task with Milo: from prompt to tested change

Open a repository, understand the code, make a focused change, and check the result without leaving your terminal.

Understand the project first

After installing Milo, open a terminal in your repository and run milo. Start in Plan mode if you want a read-only investigation. Ask it to explain a specific part of the project and identify the files involved before requesting a change.

Give it a focused task

Describe the behavior you want, where it belongs, and how you will know it works. Manual mode lets you approve actions that require permission. YOLO runs those actions automatically, so choose the mode that fits the task and your comfort with the project.

Check the result

Ask Milo to run the relevant tests, type checks, or build commands in your project. Review the diff yourself before committing it. Git-backed undo can restore tracked changes from a snapshot; it does not cover ignored files or files outside the repository.
